primatography:

This is an adult male Sinaloan Mastiff Bat chewing a mealworm.  He was found acting strange and not flying. We still don’t know what happened to him and he is still not flying.  But we are continuing to keep him warm, give him fluids and feed him insects and mealworms.  I know some people may have mixed feelings about bats but I dare anyone to look at this face as it moves back and forth and not think it’s cute!

hee hee hee

his mouth moves like a muppet

Scratch is up for grabs in my store:: BUY HIM HERE!

Meet Scratch the opossum!

Scratch is very impudent and hyperactive. He can be really annoying and drive you crazy just for his own amusement. He loves to roam in trash cans, sleep in dirty clothes and he will sell his soul for a piece of bacon!

20cm (8 inches) tall. Details are cast in resin and the body is soft (no joints or skeleton armature inside), he has some plastic pellets in his belly to give him good balance. His charm is made of mammoth ivory shards, agate and shell beads.

Attention! This is a piece of art. Not a toy for small children. Completely handmade, one of a kind.

urgleblurgle I love Remjie’s dolls

Case moth caterpillar. MY GREATEST ENEMY!

It eats animal fibers. YOU KNOW, LIKE WOOL. URGH GET OUT OF HERE, I HATE YOU >:(

It was creeping slowly and laboriously up my wall and I didn’t have a clue what it was until I took these photos and asked the internet. I couldn’t kill it though. I chucked it outside, far far away. I am a weakling.

Blossom bat by Cretur Fetur, made as a custom order. I’m particularly happy with how the face turned out, definitely the best megabat face I’ve made so far. :)

~I WON THINGS~
There’s a blog I love and have been following for a long time, Having Horns. E. Rega is a skillful, inventive seamstress and as a needle putz I love looking at the character costumes and super stylin’ clothes she makes.
So anyway, she had a giveaway, AND I WON ALL THESE THINGS! The main prize was the gorgeous floral pattern lucha mask, which fits me perfectly (thank goodness she has as tiny a head as I do, hahaha). But there were tons of other awesome things in there!!
DAT FABRIC, you can’t see in the photo but it’s subtly shimmery, and it’s got a delicious texture.TASTYCAKES. I will eat them.I DON’T KNOW what that lovely embroidered semicircle thing is because I am a rube and a noob (roob) but I appreciate it as an art object.SHINY SHELLS from the Jersey Shore. I love the long one. I’m gonna make something with all these.LOOK AT THE SQUIRTLE. LOOK!!AND THAT EMBROIDERY OMG, IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL. A sweet closeup for your viewing pleasure:

THE WITCH. I want to be like her when I grow up.AND THE MASK, it’s so soft and velvety inside and out, and I will have the best halloween costume this year. Or maybe I’ll just wear it when I feel like being incognito.
Aaahh I can’t get over this bounty. Take a look at E. Rega’s incredible portfolio here.
